PediaTrust exists to bring comfort, hope, and a sense of normalcy to hospitalized children during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
We are a student-led nonprofit with a passion for people. Through carefully assembled comfort kits, we provide items that soothe, entertain, and uplift — from blankets and books to toys and encouraging notes.
But PediaTrust is more than just what’s in the bag. We’re building a community of young changemakers committed to compassion, service, and showing kids that they’re never alone.

That’s why each of our comfort kits includes items like crayons, coloring books, plush toys, stickers, and handwritten notes — hand-packed by volunteers who care deeply.
We exist to remind young patients that they are not alone, and that a community of supporters is cheering them on.

To create a world where every hospitalized child feels genuinely supported, truly seen, and lovingly surrounded by kindness and compassion — regardless of their diagnosis, personal background, individual journey, or any unique circumstance in life that shapes who they are and what they face each day. Our mission extends beyond providing emotional support; it also emphasizes empowering children with a sense of hope and resilience. By fostering moments of joy, offering meaningful resources, and building a network of care that includes families, medical staff, and communities, we aim to inspire children to embrace their strength, dream big, and find comfort even in the most challenging situations. Every small act of kindness can create ripples of positivity that transform their healing journey.
Our Roots
PediaTrust was proudly founded by students at Florida State University, a leading public research institution committed to innovation, service, and student leadership. As pre-med and healthcare-focused students at FSU, we created PediaTrust to turn our passion for medicine and compassion into real-world impact.
What began as an idea on campus has grown into a movement to bring comfort kits to hospitalized children — one student, one kit, and one act of kindness at a time.
